Figure 2: Membranous nephropathy: The glomerulus shows no remarkable pathology. Specifically, the glomerular basement membranes appear to be of normal thickness without spikes or craters (a; PAS; 400×). Immunofluorescence studies demonstrate bright granular peripheral capillary wall deposits of IgG (b; 400×) along with kappa and lambda light chain. C3 staining was minimal.
